Once again, Kitsap Stampede enjoyed the Xtreme Bulls event in our Thunderbird arena. The winner this year is Jarod Hooten - broken jaw and all! What a trooper! Jarod took a week off, and came out to ride this event. OUCH! Tougher than I am, that's for sure!
HERE HE IS!!!
JORDAN HOOTEN!

Remember, next year - Xtreme Bulls - be there or be square! Who knows, maybe you'll see yourself on ESPN. Yep, ESPN comes to film the event!
Well kiddie troopers, at the Xtreme Bulls on Sunday, we didn't have rodeo queens in the arena. Darn... SO, I bring you the next best thing! Lots of bull riding action!
Hat's off to pickup men!
I enjoy watching the pickup men work. Sunday was a little quieter for them than the earlier days of this past week's rodeo. Their skills are amazing. I always felt they were under appreciated as athletes. This is NOT an easy job - or one for the faint of heart. You gotta be all cowboy to be a pickup man.
